Please read the following conditions of booking carefully:

1. Strictly NO bucks parties or male only events |

2. A 20% deposit is required to secure your booking |
|
3. Cancellations must be made with an absolute minimum of 24 hours notice. For larger and special events, i.e. corporate Christmas celebrations, New Years Eve celebrations, etc., an absolute minimum of 14 days notice is required. Dancers reserve a specific time slot for the client and they are unable to accept other work to make up for cancellations. Thus, it is a requirement that the full amount be paid should no notification be given

4. If the event time exceeds the specified time that has been quoted, this could incur an overtime fee. Please endeavour to ensure that event schedules run on time. Dancers often have other events to attend afterward and cannot afford to be late

5. If there is a live animal involved in the act, please ensure the client is aware of the following: if the animal is exhibiting dangerous or uncontrollable behaviour, it is at the dancer’s discretion to remove it from the stage or refrain from presenting it on stage, period. Full payment will still be required

6. Any inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated. These are professional dance performances. Everybody, including the entertainer, attends an event to have a great time and enjoy themselves. Please ensure all guests at the event demonstrate respect for the artist and art form in order to get the most out of the performance. The dancer reserves the right to cease the performance at any time should they feel uncomfortable or disrespected in any way. Full payment will still be required

7. Tipping is customary in belly dance and it is acceptable to hand a tip directly to the dancer or place the tip in an arm/head band. Under no circumstances are audience members to touch the dancer or attempt to put money in their top or skirt. This is extremely offensive behaviour

8. From time to time, booked dancers may cancel due to unforseen circumstances. In this case, Born to Belly Dance will notify the client as soon as possible and attempt to find a replacement. Unfortunately, no guarantees can be provided that a preferred replacement will be available
